In order to realize the edicts of the great saints of our land especially Shri Chandrasekara Bharathi and Shri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Swamigals, an institution was started in their sacred names on 17th May 2003 at Coimbatore and was properly registered bearing Registration No: 440/2003).

He is none other than Chandrasekara Bharati Svamigal of the Sringeri Sankara Math, who held the holy office of Sankaracharya for 42 years during the same period when Shri Chandrasekara Indira-Sarasvathi was presiding over the Kanchi Sankara Math.

His Holiness Jagadguru Shri Chandrasekarendra Bharathi, the Shankaracharya Swamigal of Shri Sringeri Sharadha Peetam became its 34th Pontiff in the year 1912. He was born on 16th of October, 1892. (Poorvapalghuni Nakshtra)

Holiness Jagadguru Shri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi, Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, was the 68th in the line of succession of Pithadhipati’s from Adi Sankara. He became the head of the Math at the age of 13 in the year 1907. He was born in the year 20th May 1894 (Anusha Nakshtra).
